Not sure how to fix this, or even exactly what is going wrong in the process. but no sprinkling of carets (^) when you reveal the "solution". Today (12/07) is slightly different - the mixed up, non-symmetrical grid and the lights not aligning to their spot in the grid, etc. I think perhaps 1 in 5 Sunday puzzles, on average, come through complete and solvable it fails more often than it succeeds. (I saw this a lot on the Sunday puzzles, which are typically 19x19 or 21x21, and it sort of looks as if the puzzle were "imported" using a 15x15 matrix or something). Choosing the 'Solve it for me' link will fill the grid with the "answers", and you'll see entries splayed out across multiple boxes, punctuated with carets (^), etc. In the latter case, it is often possible to solve a clue or two, at least until you run into the 'damaged' part of the grid. the puzzle opens, but is wrong - the symmetry is askew, several 1- and 2-letter "words", etc. the puzzle cannot be opened (and produces an error stating such), or 2.
